I was thinking of moving up to a G5 but was told by someone that the Digi 001 card will not work in the G5 because of a voltage issue. Does anyone know if this is true? I can't afford to buy a new Digi 002 but don't want to be stuck with my old G4 just because of Digi 001. If it is true is there a fix? Thanks, Ken

The 001 PCI card is not compatible with a G-5, only G-4 and earlier models, and it is unlikely thsi will ever be corrected. the 001 has pretty much been replaced by the 002R. Progress my friend.

No. If you want to upgrade, take advantage of the Hardware Exchange or sell off the 001.
