Can I export separate MIDI notes into an audio file?

I'm not sure if there is a straightforward way to split up the MIDI notes into individual MIDI files but this is what I think you want to do: On the track where you have your EXDrummer, open the FX window. click on EZDrummer and in that window, click Options/Build Multichannel routing for selected FX. This will put each Channel as set in EZDrummer to a different track in REAPER. Then you can add FX, control volume, etc, and Render or Freeze the individual tracks to audio files. that help??

EZ Drummer already comes with seperate outs to allow you to do exatly what (I think) you want. When you load EZD it will ask if you want to have seperate outs so choose yes. Reaper will build the seperate outs tracks. Once done, open EZD then open the EZD mixer. At the bottom of each drum panel there's an option to output it to one of the tracks Reaper created, i.e. Kick to track 1, snare to track 2 etc. Once you've assigned each drum to a track (your choice), make or put your MIDI file on the track that contains the EZD VSTi. Set each track to record output and start the MIDI file playing. Each track will record (audio) of only the drum you've assigned to it. When you stop recording you can name and save each track as an audio file within your project. Hope that's what you wanted. EDIT: Looks like Shemp beat me to it

RE: Can I export separate MIDI notes into an audio file?

Thanks to everybody for replying, you are absolutely awesome! I've tried the method proposed by tweezer first. I chose to have separate outputs, but for some reason the number of drums in the kit exceeds those of the tracks to which I can assign a drum. So it pretty much failed. Then I've tried what Fex suggested and it's PERFECT. This is exactly what I wanted to do. Now I can make my drums in REAPER with no problems :). Thank you once again :).
