It seems that if I try to save a session, PT closes. If I save a plug-in setting, PT closes down. If I click on my Hardware settings during playback, PT closes down. I know I must have something out of whack, but I don't know where to start. PT LE 6.4 (digi 002r) 2x HD 80GB

Do you have a FireWire card to try instead of the built in FireWire on the motherboard? I highly recommend the Adaptec 4300. Rail

If that could be my problem, then I will try it first. I believe that we installed a seperate firewire card when we built this unit, but I don't think it's even listed on the Digi compatability chart.

dude try reinstalling the 002 software! Wassup! None of that was going on when we built it . Call me. Rail is the total master of this stuff! Still wont hurt to reinstall protools.
