I am looking for any feedback on the Audio Technica (AT4040) Recording Microphone to use with a Digi 002 Rack. Is that a good Mic to use with this setup? The Mic is about $320.00. Thanks very much Reynold

I've got a 4033, and have used the 4040 several times. I'd highly recommend the AT 40 series mics!

I own 2 AT4047, 2 AT4050, AT4060 and 2 AT4040. I highly recommend any A-T mics. I use them just as much as any Neumann's and AKG's in my collection.

Thanks to all of you guys. I am very confident and happy with all the feedback that I got from you all. Now I am ready to buy the AT4040 Mic which I saw at for $319.99. I will have them match the $299.00 price from sweetwater.com, americanmusical.com and zzounds.com. The only reason I am buying it from them is because I have a store credit from the site which I can deduct from the Mic's total price. Once again thanks for all the websites reference. Reynold
