Is there a way to have SpruceUp play one clip (aka asset) immediately after another clip? For example, I have 2 episodes of a TV show, and each of these is broken up into 2 parts. I want to have a menu choice "Episode 1" that would play both parts of episode 1 in a row, and another button "Episode 2" that would play both parts of episode 2 in a row. I would like to just have 2 buttons on the main menu instead of 4. However, I can't find any way to say "play clip y after clip x" (I know you can do this in DVD Maestro--but I have no idea how to create the menus--the guide on Doom9 just says "drag and drop your menu video"--but doesn't tell you how to create one!) Any suggestions? Thanks, -Kyle
my sugestion would be to merge the episdoes in tmpeg prior to importing into spruce. stiill a good question though, could you get say episdoe 2 to play after episode 1....
YOu could by telling what you want the first chapter to do when it finishes.Instead of going back to the main menu you have it continue on to the next episode. I had a problem similar to this and i clicked help on spruceup and went to the forum and i found the answer. The forum had alot of good info for spruceup.
I've searched all over spruceup's help files and I never found a way to do that. You have to use Maestro to do stuff like that... sucks cause it would be real nice to have spruceup play another clip after its done with the first one.

Spruceup's only "ENDING ACTION" is to return to the root menu (the menu that called the video). The only way to achieve this action would be to follow what Antimon suggested, and merge the files BEFORE importation into Spruceup. (I, too, find Spruceup's limitations irritating - it was so close to being a very good piece of authoring software.)
