Logic has never been for me, but a lot of the "old school" electronic music makers have switched to using it. Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode come to mind. Newer ones like Goldfrapp as well. On the plus side, the new version supports varispeed recording very similar to Reaper and their audio quantizing system is pretty elegant. I don't know why, but no DAW has really managed to get that down in an smart way (I think ACID and Live might be the closest...SONAR's UI needs work, and Reaper's is far behind in that regard). And yeah, I know everyone is just gonna pile on this and say "I think Reapers is just AWESOME..." but head-to-head for usability and intuitiveness it really is clunky. Plus, Logic has a nice user base and upgrade path from Apple, and a bevy of some actual kick-ass included synths. All-in-all not too shabby. But, being Mac only, it kind of closes the debate down a bit. Reaper's mac version is a little behind in terms of features and power so it's fighting an uphill battle. I think it's interesting that folks knock Apple and it's OS as an attempt to compensate. Really, OS X is a POS but Windows is a model of function? Haha, c'mon! (and, I use a WinXP-based DAW, but even I know Apple's got the drop on MS with this one)
