I like Logic also but I haven't actually put it in the studio yet. I have a lot more to learn first and maybe a new Mac to buy. It's a fine product though. Or at least it certainly appears to be from what I've seen over 3-4 days. No knock on REAPER... they are literally two different things. Dees Nuts... I'm still not fully recovered from the initial hearty laugh. :)

Just as a point of order and not to get involved in the "vs" nonsense, Logic is actually $199. From what I can gather Logic Express is the same daw as Logic Studio except for MainStage 2, Soundtrack Pro 3 and a lot of the content and maybe some of the instruments. Express has quick swipe and flex and all the full editing goodies. From what I can tell it's the same daw, just not the same package. Logic Studio is the entire package for $499. Logic is $199. I bought the whole package because I do a lot of hip-hop production and content is content... besides I can use Sountrack Pro (and it's content) along with Vegas Pro (well after a reboot). But the $499 package is a suite of applications and content and instruments. People who don't need it or want it get Express.

Don't be a stranger Battla... :) I shouldn't wank on Logic... it's bad sport on my part. I keep threatening to get a Mac Mini or an iMac (can't afford a Mac Pro... sheesh!) but it's rough times around here... D
