So I crashed while uploading to my iDisk this afternoon. Ever since then my computer has beed freaking out. It's like some weird tab function was enabled and it keeps highlighting things. My DigiCore keeps launching and it speaks the names of whatever icon my mouse is selected on. I've checked all the settings that I can think of and all seem correct. Here's a screenshot. There are these weird boxes around whatever icon I select. If I switch User accounts it seems to go away. Am I missing some check box somehwhereI hope.

That happens when you have the speech options turned on. If you've pressed Cmd+F5, that will turn it on and off. You can also visit the universal access system preference's "seeing" tab to disable that.

I'm sure some of the other guys who teach can verify, anything that can get turned on or off or broken will rear its head when students touch the system. Glad that helped
