Is there a way in Reaper to assign which controller key does what on the vst? I have an older Edirol midi keyboard that has 16 pads on it. When I load EZDrummer into the track fx and select midi1 as the input I can make the drums play hitting random keyboard keys. Is there a way to assign which key plays which drum? I'd like to use the pads on the controller to play the drums. I have no software for the controller itself other than the driver. Thanks, Rut

RE: Midi controller question

There's a freeware plugin called "S-note Matrix" that might be of use to you. I came across it in my search for a plugin that does much as you've described(remap note/channel data). The gui is a bit touchy & small, but it has learn functions, and if you've only got 16 pads to muck about with, setting up a template fxb/fxp shouldn't take forver.... - try it out, & tell me what you think...
