Explode Stero track into two mono tracks?

Is there a Button or a script that does that in reaper? Many times, i would record vocals on the left, and guitar on the right, then take that to a third party editor. rather that be an automated function. thx

Why don't you record the guitar on one track in mono and the voice on another, then you have two mono tracks?

im actually not a newbie, but its safe in here. 

what if you record someone on a field recorder, to record some friend of yours with a vocal mic as well as their acoustic guitar pickup, then bring the track into your computer when you get home? it would be nice to rip a stereo track in two right inside a DAW also, the DAW industry is probably moving away from stereo as the be-all-end-all defacto standard of editing, at least where individual tracks are concerned. the majority of the tracks in most projects will be mono, you know? there should be a way to split or combine tracks. if my idea isnt perfect, please tweak it. how do you split a stereo track into two mono tracks? can you do it in a mouse click or two right inside reaper? (ps: i know how to do it, but it can be about 20 mouseclicks easier)

right click the item, item processing, explode multichannel item.

Doh, of course. Ahh, Reaper does it all sometimes I forget ;-p
