You do not need a previous version of ptle i think. I have an mbox 1 and bought ptle 7 for it (and 2 plugins) and i got a brand new s/n, and a big big file to download (around 60 MB)

Simoniz, Welcome.. Yes, you can buy it off the shelf. It is a full installer, no previous version needed. happy tooling, >> it will include both PC and Mac disc's and the standard plugins, documentation, etc..
