To be honest I really can't stand the TC MasterX 3/5 plug-ins. They don't nearly take the place of real world know-how in mastering. The Waves L2 or L1 and the masters bundle far exceeds anything else if you really know what you are doing. However, that being said, nothing beats the outboard mastering gear that the pro's use each and everyday. I know you said some smaller mastering projects so I would suggest the Waves mastering bundle over anything else out there.

Thankyou for the feedback. I have the L1 already, is the L2 a significant upgrade and if so can it be bought as a individual plug or in a bundle only. The price for waves masters is around $2000 australian, worth it or is the L1 up to scratch??? AJ

I would think about both of them (Waves and TC) and add also Sony Oxford Eq and Inflator. Kuba
