Feature Request - Possibly?

Are you looking for the peak hold pref. look in the preferences and set peak hold on. Is that what your asking for?

FWIW, I usually set the input gain down a few db (depending) as the factory default. Helps a lot. dc

That is what I do as well when working with these kind of situations.
