As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I did my first NTSC project today. All fine, except 1 issue. I mixed down to an audio track in stereo, after working to an NTSC pix .mov from an OMF (drop frame) Then exported the aif back to the editor to create the final layback and dvds etc. When he placed my mix over the pictures it was drifting out of sync and was 1 second longer than the pictures in length, yet in my Pro Tools and against the pix file all was correct! We "think" this is because the Aiff file i mixed to has no timecode embedded within it so Final cut pro was interepreting it incorrectly as non drop!. In the end I exported a Quicktime movie with audio and qt has tc embedded, all synce up fine. What file format should I have used to accomplish this? Can I embed timecode successfully into the mix file and if so how. Any thoughts or tips. A successful project with a final teething problem to resolve with your help. Cheers Peter
