can i calculate ogg overhead: for video, for audio (ac3, ogm) ?

hi, use the search function, there are already a topic like this. if i remember the ogg overhead was apraximatively 0.3 % of the avi overhead.

It seems after everything is muxed together into the ogm container it adds about 0.007% to whatever all the files are initially totaled to be before the mux. So to figure out the ogg overhead it would be: AudioStreamSize+VideoStreamSize+SubTitleSize=TotalSize FinalOGMSize=TotalSize*1.007 I may be wrong (I've only tested this with two files, it's worth a shot I guess) Run a couple of tests yourself and see what you come up with.
