What is DigiTranslator giving me in PT6?

I've removed the dll file from the ProTools folder, and can't see any difference in the import data options. Is it just the ability to export as an OMF that I am losing?

Also import, open session from an OMF. Export selected tracks as OMF and the options that go with that. MJ

How is PT to Logic & Logic to PT OMF transfering these days? Does it work on 24 bit sessions now? In both directions?
