Noise from the rear. Where do I look first.

Hi, I have a clicking/creaking noise from the rear of my 99' V70 T5 (105K). I have replaced the suspention top mounts and that has made no differance. The noise happens every once and a while when I go round corners and deffo on the first corner of the day as I reverse out of the garage. I am not sure where to look next. Creaking bush or wheel bearings. Is there a common area which causes probems? I was going to have a look today but the weather is horrable. So where is the best place to look on the next dry day? Thanks Brian

Could be the rear subframe bushes?

My brake pad spring popped out once on mine which made a rattling noise.

i would also check the security of your rear silencer mount...the mount bolts round the tailpipe and secures to two mounting rubbers above...the mount is well known for failing.... chees jod
