I hate borders :(

Anybody can help me with this. I'm using 4:3 (no borders) but I still get some borders in some movies . Any way to compress without borders? Thanks in adavance

Some movies are already encoded as 4:3 but they have borders. I have done a bunch of old Asian movies and they are all like that. I'm sure you could manually take them out, but you'll probably need to get help from an expert.

If all you have is a few pixels on each side, you could crop them as shown in several threads on this board, but keep in mind that many/all tv's will . You may want to use this test to see how much your particular setup has. But if it's in fact a 16:9 movie encoded on the DVD with borders as a 4:3, then you can easily just crop the top and bottom black borders.
