hi this is direct from volvo that why it in kpa and they converted it to psi.the 1.9 T4 b4194T2 manual gearbox runs 80 kpa which is 11.6 psi . and the B4204T5 MT&AT which is the 2L T4 and the auto b4194T2 runs 100kpa that 14.5 psi . that was a print out from volvo if u want to check ask them for.checking the adjustment of the boost presure control (bpc) valve . it will confirm this! that at 200bhp.

so you saying that with a k\n induction kit 2 half s\s exhaust with a dump valve and a mbc on by bypassing the orinal one on a stanard map it run more boost with out going bang if so how much can it go up by safely my gauge reads 14 psi and hold it WILL IT BE SAFE i cant afford to repair my t4

Do some proper research on S40 net before you decide whether to increase boost, last think i want to happen is for your engine to blow cause i said an increase should be ok!!! I'm only going by my only personal experience with my motor, sounds like there can be quite a big variation even with 40's of the same model!!!!
