thanks, but I had already read this comment of your somewhere. However, I use PT24 /PTmix plus going always to a CD in masterlist. Mus I stay always in 44.1/24 or use those paths I described, like mixing in 48k/24 than exporting to an outboard DAT and then to an 1/2" analog? Thanks again Chris.

thanks for the support but I have never used the stuf you mentioned. I always master inside PT with Waves , TC Master x,etc and bounce to disk at best quality going down to 44.1/16 bits, using the dither from waves or TC Master X. but anyone suggests another technique to improve this? should I look for a 1/2"? or take analog out from the interface into analog in of a DAt...What I wanna know is if a conversion is worser than d/a the signal inside PT. When the final medium is CD, work at 44.1/24. Sample rate conversion from 48 to 44.1 always sounds worse than simply starting with and staying at 44.1 from the beginning.

THANKS FRIEND, also.... more space in Hds running evry session in 44k. But what is the deal working at 88.1/96 or 192 if we go back to 44.1/16? I am not a DVD producer...Now we go back to the old debate... hope to hear from you all!!!
