Hello, I have posted this before, but never understood so I have been working around it. Now I have to get it right. I came across the below instructions so I completed them. 1\ Start new track 2\ Load SD2.0 VSTi in fx menu 3\ Drag new midi item (Groove from SD2) into track 1 4\ Go to mixer in SD2 5\ Right click on first output channel. 6\ click multichannel 7\ Still in mixer, go to upper left corner of the FX window and right click 8\ Click "Build multi channel routing for output of selected FX" Click yes This built the tracks but all the midi info is still on the Master parent SD2 track. I thought the midi parts would each be on its own track: Kick on 2 ETC. Not yet. I am including screen shots and trying to be as thorough as I can. What do I need to do? Thanks, angster
If unsure what is needed I would suggest the follwing: 1. Load SD2 via track menu VST instrument on new track. 2. Answer the question about multiple out with -yes You can easily remove unwanted tracks later. 3. In mixer in SD2, rightclick above mike for each part as you wrote above, but select to route to out 1+2(should be there already), next to out 3+4, next to 5+6 and so on. I usually keep if several for snare, I put those to the same outs. So far you should be able to go to construct view in SD2 and hit different instruments with mouse - you should see reaction on outputs. Having mixer view visible simplifies this a bit, compared to track view. Then go through and delete tracks not needed, not having outs from mikes in SD2.
Me too, I thought it was a mixup with Slate - that is v4 or something?

What you are doing with the multiple outs from Superior is routing the audio from Superior to separate tracks in Reaper which can then be processed with EQ, comp, whatever. (I'm assuming that you wish to process the audio and not the MIDI. Is that right?) If you like, you can put all 3 of the snare mics into a track folder and put your processing on that master folder track. You could also route all 3 mics to the same output from Superior. Same goes for the kick mics. I hope this makes sense.
