I've been reading...yes not replying to this forum for a long time....its the same reason why i don't reply to any of the multitiude of sound/engineering/gear waste of time sites, the DUC has become a bitch of a site, I actually enjoy it when i see a quality question with 2 replies that actually answer the queary....... believe it or not people, most people who use PT/TDM don't give a **** about you PTLE users and what you do with it....they will go ".....oh cool, can just hook it up......blahblahblah" now for ****s sake, most people use PT to get the job done , from what i can gather in this site of things its just bitch bitch bitch and as far as i'm concerned I'll be a long time reader one time commentor.....seriously the DUC has mutated from being a source, to being a bitch, and as far as i'm concerned i hope that everyone moves on from this general piece of **** attitude!!!! take care ........

PT will be OSX comp. PT wont be logic compatible [thank god] 002 will find be alright, I think you'll find LE users that you'll just be pipped at the post on a few things.....for christs sake no SMPTE and I've got to say no beat detective.......

OSX Update....of course it will cost... it'll cost $US129 to upgrade to Jaguar alone.....would everyboby please just stop ****ing around...

oh, smoothe, I don't think I will/can go the OS X route anyway, because my video capture card (Aurora Fuse) WILL NOT have a driver for OS X forever!! Unless I trade it up for Igniter or something. What I was trying to say is, I hope DIGI will still release a 32 track version for us 0S 9.x users. I really really really need the extra 8 tracks for my music production. Anyway, the main bulk of my work involves Audio for Picture, therefore the Aurora Fuse is needed for my daily work as well, for capturing video and playing it back with Pro Tools. so I will have to give the OS X upgrade a pass because of the card. Oh deer, shame their ain't no smily that looks like a rabbit in the head lights maybe ohhhhh bloody eek!!!! sorry i was leting a bit of grief fly, but really i do find it hard to understand what all you crazy cats are up to out their if your using 001s' to run studios...like i'm down with the vibe but i thought that the whole concept of the 001 and hence the 002 was kinda something that you could get away with at home without upsetting the missus....... I've always thought that PT was a great programme for people who came from an engineering background as opposed to somethingh like logic that comes from the perspective of an individual that has grown up playing keyboards!!!! oh well

Sorry TwoRooms i realise i haven't answered your question, but my own....Pt will be for OSX and their will be a day that we go "...remember 9.2.000203iu" and all have a good laugh....." it is just the way things are, if your gear is working for you now with no need to **** around to much than i don't think that the 002 will do that much extra for you, stick with it.... one of the funniest threads i saw was people [they know who they are] asking Bomfactory for AMS type reverb plug-ins......now come on for ****s sake they were 8 bit reverb units, but i agree they have a sound, but the last thing i want protools to do is replicate it, all i want PT to do is sing like a bird......not to much to ask KKkkkkjhlkrhil
