Hi. Let's say I wanted to create a 6 channel clip of audio. I create a new track and set the track channels to 6 in the track i/o. Is is possible to drag 6 mono items into the track to comprise a 6 channel item? I'm trying it, but it doesn't seem to work? Am I even going about this the right way? Any help is appreciated. No, you will have to convert them to interleaved before importing, with a utility like : (Mac)

I drag 6 channel 5.1 flac files into Reaper all the time. I still haven't weaned myself from ProtoolsHD for post surround work yet but... I imagine you simply need to name the files/items with the correct extensions (L R C Lfe Ls Rs) and away you go. Or there's Wave Agent
