Anyone have the FXpansion yet and used it with VSTi's, VST plugins (audio both ways) and UAD-1 or Powercore???? Please report your findings here!

it is not yet available to the general public. but, if you go to the LE Windows thread discussing this wrapper, one of the LE Windows members was @ AES, and reportedly instantiated a VST on a PT Mixer insert slot;

Making a ReWire to VSTi or RTAS to VSTi plug-in both accomplish the same thing... writing a VSTi host via ReWire would have been easy for any company without the RTAS SDK... I was going to write one if no one else did... the code is pretty simple and most of it available online. If, on the other hand, they've written an RTAS to VST wrapper.. that's a whole different animal and is huge news for the PC community.. Pluggo sort of let the Mac folk do this for a while now. Regards. Rail

I'd heard of some kind of Vsti to Rtas wrapper in the past, but it seemed it wasen't rock solid, so my perception was that this area wasn't firmly cornered . Oh well, either way, things are progressing nicely in Digiland.
