Just got Pro Tools 6 and OSX running. My problem is that I can't open or save files to external drives, or any folder I want! It'll only let me use Documents, Favourites, Home, iDisk etc. Any got any ideas? I'm the sole user and the administrator (without any passwords). I've checked users in Preferences and nothing is disabled that I can see. I've noticed that it does the same thing in TextEdit, so it's probably a OSX thing, rather than PT. Very annoying!

RE: OSX File Question

In your save window you can navigate to where ever you like!* The little arrow opens a columns view. Or just go to the desktop and work your way from there. *Outside of the defaulting to your documents folder it is quite similar to OS9 For additional find enhancements try "default folder" from St. Clair Software.
