So I have new desk top. 1.7 ghz AMD sempron 700 Meg RAM, XP SP3. Speed up slow down problem is still there. I am still at a loss as to why this might be happening. I thought it might be my imagination so I asked a friend to A/B the situatin. They noticed it too. Has anybody else noticed this? I record a drum track and then a keys part. Real simple. If I mute the keys track the drum track "speeds up". This is very annoying if you like minimal techno etc etc. If I un mute the keys track I get the slow down... The problem does not seem to get any worse when other tracks are added. So where do I go now... Would love to hear from any one who may have ideas. R.

:eek: Time to call an exorcist! :) Would you mind uploading the .RPP project file to ? Maybe we can find gremlins or tribbles in there.

what happens if you render the file to a wav and import it into a new project?
