I am considering acquiring the leather sports steering wheel that came as an optional accessory for the 240. However i want to fit it to an early 940. since production of the 240 overlapped both the 7 and 9 series to an extent i was wondering if like many parts this was one where it was compatible.I know that apart from the horn connectors its a 27mm bolt that holds the steering wheel on the 240. Apart from that my knowledge is limited!! can anyone help!!! would it fit??????????????

As a totally unbiased 940 owner, my feelings are that a 940 should be a 940, not a mix of various different Volvos. Just my 2 bobs worth.....
