I recently upgraded my system from PT 5.3/OS 9.2.2 to PT 6.0.1/OS 10.2.6. I had bought an HD3pack and the MassivePack. I obviously tried to follow all upgrade instructions including disk permissions repairs and all the rest. My problems (Sony, Aphex, Digi, Drawmer, Focusrite all ok) : - Bombfactory 1176 and LA2A don't work. I have downloaded the upgrade following Digi instructions. Error -7058. The plugs are inactive and, after I try to instantiate them, the insert window in ProTools changes (!!!). Near the usual 'no insert', 'TDM plugin', 'RTAS plugin' or 'I/O' (I'm inserting on a stereo aux) some mysterious 'Attack', 'Release' buttons appear... - Filterbank : the same - Eventide : same as above - Indigo : same but the number error is 7224 - MC2000 : same as Indigo - Pitch Blender : same as Indigo - Reverb One : ProTools quits... Hellllllllllppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!

Mark, HD Pack 3 is version 1.0 (Bruno/Reso, Classic Compressors, d2, D-Fi, DPP1, Maxim, Pitch Doctor, Reverb One, Virus). I had them regularly authorized and working on OS 9.2.2/PT 5.3. The total RAM is 1,5G. Some of the not working plugins (Classic Compressors, MC 2000, Filterbank, Waves Renaissance) work well in RTAS.

Steve, I don't know if this will necessarily help in your case, but I also have the HD3 pack and made the transition to PT6/OS10.2.3 on my G4 933mHz single processor. All upgrades went smoothly except for the Bomb Factory classic compressors, where I had trouble with the stuffed file I downloaded from their site. I finally realized OSX Jaguar probably didn't have the latest version of Stuffit Expander. I downloaded that, and the classic compressors installed without a hitch. Again, I'm not sure that this applies to your specific situation, but the rest of the plugs you list (with the exception of Reverb One) are a part of Massive Pack, which I don't have yet (although I ordered it from Sweetwater on Friday), so my solution may hold some water.
