Hello everybody, Well, I don't want to discourage you in this issue, but translation is too serious a business to leave it (only) up to programs and certain translation engines. Such automated translation services and programs of course can help you a bit with separate words, phrases, sentences, etc, (or can "assist" you during your translation process) but the ultimate aim of any translation is to create the meaning of the text as a whole in the target language. I don't want to go into details and elaborate on the subject from a linguistic point, but briefly I can say that the results you get in this way will most probably be very very disappointing, unity and meaning will be lost, especially in the case of translating the subtitles of a movie, which requires great effort and experience together with the creative, expressive use of language. Anyway, as a freelance translator, what else could I say about this subject? ;) Best regards, iago
