can i Translate subtiltles??

i have allot of subtitles in english (microdvd format) and i want to translate them all to my launghage "german" how can i do it? if there is a prog that to it plz someone tell me plz.

nothing easier than that: open you sub file in the notepad and replace the english text through german or whatsoever, than save it (to a new file)!

yes i know that , but i want to ask if there is a program that translate all the text to language that i want .
