RE: New track volume fader algorithm

Seems to be definitely an improvement. Got my +1. I am always struggling with the fact that so small a movement will result in so drastic changes in volume around the 0dB area and upwards of the volume faders (I know I can change things about that in the prefs, but wasn't able to come up with something that really satisfies me). Will your proposed algorithm deal with that or do I understand that wrong? I have the same problems with send volume faders as well. It is hard to make small changes in the upper region around 0dB and upwards. No pref settings for these, so i propose to change algorithms there, too.

Then, I am all for it and raise my pool to ++1 :) Please let's extend the FR to change the send volume algorithm also.

+1 to both sends' and tracks' volume faders with algorithmic curves. Like Devin said "creates a range that looks and sounds proportional to the human ear".

+1 for this, I've always felt Reaper's fader level calculation isn't so natural to work with! (The existing preference for tweaking that doesn't do the trick...)

Should be C:\program files\reaper\effects Unless you're on Mac or Linux, then you're on your own, LOL.

That's where I thought, but there's no folder there called JS. Do I just need to make one? Kyle

No need to create a folder, just place in the in the "effects" folder and Reaper should find it automatically next time you run Reaper(if you have Reaper running right now, you should close it, and re-open it after you've moved the file there.).
