RE: Does Reaper MIDI have staff notation?

Thank you, Mr. Data. </Picard> Is there a plugin or anything that will do this? Also, how is the learning curve on piano roll? Is it pretty easy to edit complex stuff once you get used to it?

RE: Does Reaper MIDI have staff notation?

I and others at one time suggested a piano roll style editor with a standard stave display instead of just grid lines at one time as a workable compromise but the idea seems to have sunk with all hands.

Download the free notation editor at musescore.org Go into Reaper Preferences and set the program as your external midi editor. (You can use any notation editor you like, musescore is free and very capable)

There are some tools available that use the external midi editor capability but extend it by providing updates to the editor periodically. One uses Musecscore, and another the Tuxguitar editor. There are long discussions and the links to download them in the developer forum: Later, Hartley
