Help with my old hardware and new PC

I just got a new PC but, as I feared, Vista will not see/install the drivers for my soundcard -- an EgoSys WamiRack 24 (which is like 10 years old and no longer 'supported'). I'm wondering if ASIO4ALL might work as generic drivers for my card? Or if anyone had any other suggestions? I can probably roll back to XP if necessary, but I've heard that's a real pain. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ASIO4ALL is a driver wrapper and if there's no WDM driver, there's nothing ASIO4ALL could wrap. Sorry, I guess you're out of luck here, you need to install XP or buy a new interface. I'd prefer the first option. :)

Thanks for the reply. I was kind of hazy on what ASIO4ALL does. Looks like I'm headed back to XP (which really doesn't make me very sad). Thanks again.

You can't beat XP if you get Dux' Nlited version with SP3 (or Nlite it yourself) My install is 300 MB instead of 700, takes twenty minutes to install, but it doesn't matter because you don't even have to be there, and it boots in eight seconds. If that's not enough wait till you start to actually use it, with nothing to slow it down it goes like rocket. Check out
