Hi all, I cant find the answer to my question hence i ask it. How can i jump from chapter to chapter/scene selection using the forward button of my dvd remote. I authored in scenarist added all my cells to the movie program 25 cells in all. My ifo looks allright (chaptertimes etc.) For some reason though when i play the movie my standalone player and my computerdvd player says i only have one chapter where it should be 25. I thought i had it figured out but alas. I looked almost everywhere in scenarist but i cant find an answer. When i try to rearrange the chapters scenarist also says i only have 1 chapter. This is not right cause in my track editor i defenitely have 25 chapters. Can someone pls let me see the light? Kind regards Eric

RE: Selecting Scenes/Chapters

It is a common error this one. U simply added the rest of the chapters to the 1st one thus creating 24 cells in the 1st chapter and not 25 chapters. Add the chapter in the pgc and u will be fine.

Thx Oddyseus worked great. I am starting to understand scenarist. Only thing i have yet to work out is how to link buttons to audio/subtitle streams. Grtz Eric

RE: Selecting Scenes/Chapters

If you're asking that as a question, here's the answer... be sure that your menu is in the same titleset as the movie; ideally, it should be in the language folder for a given VTS. That's probably the most common problem. Use the "Set Angle/Audio/Subpicture" command on one of your buttons; if you so want, you can link that selection button to starting the movie itself with those particular tracks playing. Most 'Hollywood' movies link the selection button so that it highlights a "play movie" button automatically. Don't have Scenarist open at the moment, but the exact method to do that was just recently in this forum. Thanks, Dan

On TrackEditor, you needed to add NewScene. Enter chapter point timecodes etc... Also make sure the UOPs set to be permitted
