RE: [Atlantis] Weird problem with stripped menu.

how about this? For example, a sdtructure like this: menu 1 - root menu menu 2 - audio menu menu 3 - caption menu menu 4 - VobID 1-24 menu 5 VobID 25 menu 6 VobI 26-29 when the DVD plays, it jumps to the root menu or main menu which is menu 4. when you select the language menu is accesses menu 6. Here's what I do: VTSM_PGCI_UT PGC_MENU 6 Add Pre Command: Link PGCN 5 Now, whenever you access the menu button for langugaes, it will automatically send you back to the main menu. However, you won't even see the language menu at all, it will seem the button at the main menu for languages is inoperative. That should do it. PSX Zombie

No, first you will see the screen where you select you language, then the main menu pops up. But I don't want to change the menu at all, I want to keep it as it's now. It's just that one button doesn't work properly when I delete the playback or strip vob-id 25 (languagescreen). The menu looks like this: Menu Language Units: 1 Language Menu Unit 1: [English] Language Menu Unit 1: [English] Menu 1: [Root-Menu] (entry PGC) (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 26) Menu 2: [Audio Menu] (entry PGC) (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 25) Menu 3: [Angle Menu] (entry PGC) (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 28) Menu 4: [Sub-picture Menu] (entry PGC) (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 27) Menu 5: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 6: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 7: [entry only] (Programs: 2) (Cells: 2) (uses VOB-IDs: 12) Menu 8: [Chapter (PTT) Menu] (entry PGC) (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 29) Menu 9: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 10: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 11: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 11) Menu 12: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 13) Menu 13: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 14: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 15: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 16: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 17: [entry only] (Programs: 2) (Cells: 2) (uses VOB-IDs: 20) Menu 18: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 19: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 14) Menu 20: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 21: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 22: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 23: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 24: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 1) Menu 25: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 2) Menu 26: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 3) Menu 27: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 4) Menu 28: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 5) Menu 29: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 7) Menu 30: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 6) Menu 31: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 10) Menu 32: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 9) Menu 33: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 15) Menu 34: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 17) Menu 35: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 16) Menu 36: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 37: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 38: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 39: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 40: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 19) Menu 41: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 18) Menu 42: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0) Menu 43: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 21) Menu 44: [entry only] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 22) Menu 45: [entry only] (Programs: 0) (Cells: 0)

RE: [Atlantis] Weird problem with stripped menu.

When you strip all extra's, audio, subtitles and trailers. Why do you need a menu? When you strip the movie with ifoedit, remove subtitles and audio you don't want, get vts sectors you end up with a movie that starts when you put it in your dvd player. But the question is. When you remove all extra's why a menu???

RE: [Atlantis] Weird problem with stripped menu.

If you don't want (and/or don't see the sense of) a menu screen with only one button (and I agree), then the skip technique posted above by psxzombie makes good sense. You might also change the firstplay to the root menu (or to the movie itself).
