How can we split the double audio stream movies made by GKnot into 2 or 3 CD's without loosing one of the streams? I use Virtual Dub for splitting my avis but after the operation one of the audio steams gets lost everytime. I experienced the hard way I invented for double audio 2 CD movies and looking for an easy way. And another question: Which version of Nandub allows us to jump to...for example 698 MB of the movie, for splitting in 2 CD movies. I saw that option on doom9's forum but don't have this choise in the version installed on my PC. Thanks for your interest.
Hi there, just download Nandub 1.0 RC2 from and set both first and secondary audio stream to "direct stream copy"... it's really easy. For more info, read the Gknot Guide - Splitting section. It's described pretty well. My signature says german.doom9.net, but at the moment it's not working - visit instead if you want German translations of Doom9's guides.
I also use this method but somtimes, irt happens that some avi don't play very well(i.e the player crash) If you have cbr audio:cut the video and audio with nandub and then use avimux0.4 to mux the files. Ihave'nt any problem with this method exect that ti is longer that cutting and creating avi with nandub.
hi there, well, this crashing problem also occured to me often... I don't know if it's really related to CBR/VBR, but dual language AVIs cause some problems with WMP 6.4 (at least in Win2k which I'm using). solution: use other players like Zoom Player.
You're right. 2 CD-2 audio stream avi videos sometimes play with slight pauses in Radlight 5. And you can't rewind and fast forward the video so easily. But in 1 CD audio stream movies I never face this problem. Avi mux is a good option, too. But the muxing process is a little bit longer, isn't it? Thanks for all your replies and advices. They were all very useful.
solution: use other players like Zoom Player. Yes but I don't like this player So I use PowerDivX3.12 of BSplayer(but Bsplayer crash somtimes with thesame files)
