about the "no-brainer" syndrome

MessageAuthor

all this no-brainer storming is a side effect of the cockos's fair pricing policy, isn'it?

one thing to remember, for someone to take advantage of all (or even half) of the no brainer deals, you'd never have the time to effectively learn them all... with plugins, less is more! unfortunately, the more you wade through them, the less you have to guess which you want to use for a project

I think these no-brainers are showing up because nobody is buying the plugins in the first place. Why are plugins more expensive than my entire DAW?,

Some plug ins are overpriced to start with, and the "no brainer" price is just a more reasonable price.

Most of the brainer deals imo have been good value...so there's little to discuss or complain about on that front. And yes, imo it's a trend that's been influenced by innovators such as Cockos and good old fashioned competition, all of which benefits the end user.
