We've got a system installation running Cubase and the Digi001 together on a G4. The Cubase has a problem in recognizing the I/O interface. We tried using an updater from Steinberg's site for use with the Digi001 but it still doesn't work. Has anybody tried using the ASIO Digidesign Direct I/O with Syeinberg's Cubase VST24?

Try taking all the asio drivers out of the asio folder except the direct I/O trash prefs..And you should be ok ------------------ RIO B. MABZ MUZIK(BMI) MAB PRODUCTIONz

Make sure you're using the 5.0 version of ASIO Direct I/O, not the 3.2 version. You will need to trash the Cubase prefs. I haven't tried it with 4.1r1 or r2, but the analog in/outs work in regular 4.1. S/PDIF didn't work with it, nor did the 001's midi port. Maybe the r1 or r2 version fixed some of that. ------------------ LW
