Sorry, but no. You need a video editor to do that. Or should I say, you can record and mix in reaper, but you'll need a video editor to render the video out.
No. You need a video editor. If you're running a PC, Sony Vegas Movie studio is EXCELLENT and a steal at $60 or less For free on the PC, you can also use the free Microsoft Windows Movie Maker, but the Vegas Studio is SO worth it....
I just picked up Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum on EBAY for 21$, free ship. I'm still messing with it, but it's been nice so far. Platinum includes background mattes, sound effects, and DVD creator. One thing that's huge over windows movie maker, is that VMS lets you get all creative with text, and overlays. Not just one spot, like MM. You can create the music in reaper, matching it to the video replay, then pull the piece of music into VMS as an audio track, line it up, and then render.
Windows Movie Maker can have an audio track dominate over video in creating a video project, presuming you're in the M$ world Being Micro$oft ... MOV (Apple Quicktime) isn't one of the video formats usable by WMM. I use AnyVideoConverter freeware to convert my wife's Nikon digital camera MOV videos to MPEG2. (DVD quality) So, I use the converted MPEG2 in WMM ... select an audio file to dominate the audio ... it's like a fader .... more video or more audio volume. And you can save the WMM project in many formats of choice (but not MOV)
It's easy to add/delete audio tracks to your existing .mov file within Quicktime Pro. So why not get the audio just right in Reaper and then add to your existing .mov file in QT.
It can be done by joyoshare Media cutter. What you need to do is cut the specific segments you want to add the music to, add music in them and then merge these segments in the whole video.
