what dvd burner to buy?

ok i didnt have the money to get the superdrive. now i'm looking to get an external dvd burner for burning PT files. i have an extre fw port on my g4. this is pretty much for these files only so i dont think i need too many bells and whistles. and i'm on a pretty toght budget. what do you guys recommend?

Neither did I so I went to Fryes and bought a Pioneer 105 (the so called superdrive) and installed it in a g4 myself. No problems - the drive works great and my machine recognizes it as an Apple Superdrive. Price was around $299. Cheers

MCE came out with a superdrive for the G4. Look here: List price is currently $249. Alex

Ive been working with the LaCie DVD-R and its been great on both Mac and PC. I also use the SuperDrive on a TiBook and G4, but they are built-in. Other External one is a Pioneer S201 for DVD Authoring.
