Let's start a "call in" campaign to NI to get them going on the OSX Support. I was told they were kinda dragin their feet on the OSX upgrade for some unknown reason. I'd really miss my NI stuff (PT bundle and now Kontakt). I was really banking on Kontakt, but I'll have to jump to the MOTU Mach5 if NI waits too long. Anyone recomend a good B-3 sample library? Tim

If PT 6 isn't ready with direct connect you won't be able to use Kontakt anyway. Anyone had any luck with the DFD extension with Kontakt 1.2?

This is all great but what about the ProTools NI bundle that I bought for $999. Yes, I was one of the first ones and feel really had by all this. I have contacted NI numerous times about getting the Pro-53 upgrade for RTAS. "we are considering this" is the response. How hard can that be ? When asked about the RTAS bundle for PT6 for OSX, " the end of the year " so that means sometime in 2004 !!! Does Digi not realise that NI is an important company in the soft synth world and that's where everything is headed. Even Novation are coming out with a soft synth, but it looks like OSX audio units and no RTAS. Digi noit everyone records live drums and guitars for has been rock bands. Look on any chart of what sells. I think it's all programmed and nothing is played live. Unless it's a sampled riff from an old record, but oh wait we don't have a sampler for OSX either.
