it doesnt mention the 003f series in the update instructions, should i update it? thought it was always advisable to do so?

Where did you get the 003f? Is that the one with the eight mic pres, four ADAT i/o and phantom power switches on the FRONT of the unit? Is Digi offering a trade-up program to get into the 003f, and does it come bundled with the MPTK?

I was scratching my head as to what the 003f was too until I looked at his system description. I think he is referring to the 003 Factory. And "yes" you should ugrade to version 7.3.1.
