Don't you just hate it when they suggest the obvious Just kidding, in short, it's basically a complete production environment on the computer packed with virtual syths, samplers, drums and more... Guess it would be kinda hard to briefly go over all of it but you can do what the above stated and go to their webiste or just google it...

Thanks I'm at friends computer for the weekend.I have protools to mess around with which i'm more familiar with...I got reason open and made a cool drum loop. Wondering how to use to the synth ??? I have no midi controller...is it possible to use the synth without one ? anyone know how without a midi controller??? want to have some fun but only have a drum beat...

I highly recommend exploring Reason. Your only limitations are cpu and imagination.

if you look for it (they are available at the download pages of propellerheads' site) you can get software to allow you to use your computer's keyboard as a MIDI controller. Examples on would be Midikeys and iPiano. Some other stuff can be . If you poke around Apple's site and Downloads.com, you can prbably find some.
