Lets say you have two audio regions -not placed on a grid. I would like to TC/E to "glue" the end of the first region up against the start of the second region. If your in grid mode the TC/E tool simply stretches the region to the nearest grid location -but how do you do it when the regions are not at a grid location? Thanks for help -c

Do it in "slip" mode.

Rather than using TCE from the icons, go to audiosuite and select Other/Time Compress Expand. There is a field where you can enter the exact time to which you want it to be dragged. You'll need to magnify the beginning of the next audio region so you can get an exact readout of the location; then do the TCE through audiosuite and you should be good to go.
