How can I stop creep, the car wants to move as soon as I select drive. The idle is set at 850RPM. Is it a software or a reset problem? Help!

I am going by my old Ford Zodiac with a Borgwarner box, it was much more disciplined. This beast has to be held back all the time!

The only time when my V70 did not creep was on a hill start at a junction. But did not run back.

Hi I am sorry to be awkward but I have just tried my son's Vauxhall Elite and you engage drive and the car only moves when you press the accelerator. My car just goes, when you release the brake. I assumed that you could just lower the idle revs, but according to the Haynes manual, the idle speed is non-adjustable. Any further observations anyone?
