I can't seem to get .72 to work with CCE sp 2.70.01.01 or .05. I point it to ECLcce 1.81 and it says ECLCCE does nt support CCE 2.70. I've also tried pointing directly to the CCE exe and it dives me a DVD2AV error. I have 2.67 working. It seems as though I've seen posts with Rebuilder working with CCE 2.7. Am I doing something wrong or need something updated? I used the .72 installer version. Oh I have a AMD Barton. TIA
Check the [Options] section in your rebuilder.ini, and add the following if it isn't there already: CCE_Trial_Header=; CCE SP xxxxx Version -- Encoder Control List where xxxxx is "Trial" (by default) or possibly something else depending on what your particular flavor of CCE SP is showing as the application name when you launch it.

Well here's my change ini file: [Audio] Selected=1 [Options] Mode=1 OneClick=0 ReduceOpt=1 NoWarn=1 AdditionalOutput=1 LogFile=1 QuEncHQ=1 EncoderMinimized=1 RemoveDTS=1 Skin=Spaceneilas Curve CCE=1 CCE_Trial_Header=; CCE SP xxxxx Version -- Encoder Control List [Paths] QuEnc=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\QuEnc\QuEnc.exe ReJig=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\ReJig\ReJig.exe DECOMB=C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\Decomb521.dll ProCoder=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\EclPro\EclPro.exe MPEG2DEC=C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\DGDecode.dll Working=C:\DVD Rebuilder Output=C:\DVD Rebuilder Output CCENEW=C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\CCE SP Trial Version\cctspt.exe Source=C:\CLONEDVDTEMP\VIDEO_TS\ I did substitute the xxxxx for the verion in the header .. I still get the error: c:\dvd RebuilderD2avs\item.ecl is not an ECL for CCE SP xxxxx Version.
In your rebuilder.ini, try changing CCE=1 to CCE=3 With your CCE=1 you have it set to "CCE SP" instead of "CCE SP Trial". If you aren't getting the "CCE SP Trial" option in your DVD-RB CCE submenu, I'd rename your rebuilder.ini to rebuilder.bak, re-run rebuilder.exe and let it make a fresh rebuilder.ini. Then put in your settings again through the menus, and edit the ini only if you need to.
ProCoder 2.0 is a great tool, especially for PAL<>NTSC conversion. From what some have said its default compression is somewhat softer than the defaults for CCE... this looks to some as more visually appealing. You can achieve the same softness in CCE by adjusting the defaults. Glad you got CCE 2.70 to work.
Hello, should rebuilder actually work without this trick? Just curious, because without this trick it doesn't work for me. Ty to make it possible Damian :)
